Short biography
Benedikt Limbacher received his master’s degree in electrical engineering from TU Wien in 2017 and his PhD degree also from TU Wien in 2021 for his work on Light-Matter Interaction in Resonant Tunneling Diodes and Quantum Cascade Lasers. His research interests include electronic transport in semiconductor heterostructure systems strongly coupled to the light-field as well as novel computer assisted methods for optimization and machine learning in photonic systems.
