Short biography
Marie Ertl was born in Villach, Austria.
She received her MSc degree in Electrical Engineering at TU Wien in 2018 for her work on integrated dispersion compensation for terahertz photonics.
After two years of working in industry at Robert Bosch AG she is currently pursuing her PhD in the THz group at the Photonics Institute.
Her research focuses on building active terahertz quantum cascade metasurfaces.
